Being-Competition-GroupIn great demand as a teacher, many of Franklin’s students occupy principal and section positions in major orchestras throughout the United States, Canada, Asia, Mexico and Europe. In addition to presenting master classes worldwide, Mr. Cohen is in demand as a juror for many international music competitions.

Franklin Cohen is currently the Department Head at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Over his long distinguished career he has served on the faculties of The Cleveland Institute of Music, The Juilliard School and The Peabody Institute. He has done many residencies and master classes at major music schools throughout the world, including the Colburn School of Music, the Glenn Gould School at the Royal Conservatory of Music and the Jacobs School at Indiana University. Mr. Cohen gives master classes at many of the world’s leading music schools and conservatories.
